Hometown?
Clearwater, Florida though it almost was Salzburg, Austria, which is my mother's hometown. Apparently, things were kinda dicey at home right before I was born.
Life-changing event?
In high school, a good friend had (and still has) a beautiful Black & Gold Telecaster. We'd sit watching the then-brand new MTV andby the second verse, he'd be playing along with these songs neither one of us had ever heard before. I wanted to be able to do that and now I can.
What music are you currently grooving to?
Lots of classic country for a side project. If you ever want to find out just how good a guitarist you're not, try learning some smokin' James Burton licks. Yikes.
What, if push comes to shove, is your all-time favorite album?
The Jayhawks' Tomorrow The Green Grass is pretty much prefect, IMHO.
What was the first album you ever bought? And where did you buy it?
Jackson 5 Greatest Hits, probably at Zayre's.
Which musician have you ever wanted to be?
Danny Gatton, except for that bit at the end.
What do you sing in the shower?
Usually some Todd Rundgren and really, really badly.
What is your favorite Saturday Night record?
If enroute to a gig, something like Grant Green's Live At Club Mozambique puts me in a good mood. For a casual night out, ABBA Gold or AC/DC Highway To Hell, please.
And your Sunday Morning record?
One time, I slept through until Monday afternoon; that's gotta be some kind of record...
